Yup reversed, that's the battery box top under the seat. All the fill's were exposed on M151's. Interesting tread pattern on the tires, locally procured I wonder?

The vacuum valve on the RH side of the pump probably needs to be adjusted, it rotates forward and back, make sure the tab on the back side of it is engaged in the pump correctly, tough to explain but self explanatory. NDT also makes a valid point to check the lines.

Would have to see pictures of it including the engine compartment, too many factors sight unseen.

Long awaited antenna mount arrived today, hardware bag attached had a large hole in the side of it but only 1 nut was missing. Will get the antenna base installed this weekend I hope.

I just restored a M38A1 a couple of years ago, ZOUT and NDT are correct. The biggest challenge I had was getting the rod through the bottom hole.

I have these arms that come with adapters to mount to the M37, M35 etc. that allow use of a modern bayonet mount type wiper blade. PM if interested.
