You might want to do a search for "noise" and etc both on this forum ... and over on the Deuce Hotrodding and modification forum.
I'm pretty sure I've seen some stuff on sound deadening over there.

Thanks for the post ... you answered a big question for me:
Can the 24 volt external fuel pump be used for WMO filter/transfer ops?
It looks like its a little too slow.
Again ... many thanks.

I'd like to do my filtering at the same time that I pick WMO up from folks.
So I kinda need "speed" in addition to a hope I have of keeping the handling of the oil to a minimum.
That being said ... I've been looking for 24 volt diaphragm pumps with sufficient pressure to push WMO through...
I'm gonna gut the master cylinder from my (sacrificial) M105 Trailer ... swap the top from it onto my Deuce's master ... which will give me a bigger fill hole ... and use the copper tubing from said trailer's air lines to link the two.
Copper makes a real nice single flair ... that will be...
Nahhhh ...
Why the 'ell would somebody want to know if there is a QUALITY DIFFERENCE ... or other factor to accompany the wide range of prices???
And shopping around to find the best price for the same goods?
How does THAT make sense????
I should EXPECT to pay Walker prices for Korean crap...
A BIG OL' PLUS ONE THERE!!!!
ESPECIALLY when you find out that there is NO difference in the parts at all.
Some retailers just have a higher cost of operations ... or might not get as much of a discount from the wholesaler ...and therefore has to mark things up a bit more.
It don't make them...
True that, as I found out.
As a post script ...
At the time I started this thread, I placed an order with a internet purveyor of Deuce parts ... AGAIN I WILL NOT MENTION NAMES ...
After a week I got notified that the part was not in stock but would be shipped in roughly 7 to 10 days...
You might want to do a search on that subject on this forum ... and over at the Deuce Hotrodding forum.
I might be wrong, but I'm almost sure I read something about the Deuce 2nd gear seizing to the shaft. It wouldn't hurt to look.
In any event ... you might want to drain out a quart of lube...
Did you look down in the Models & Scale Replica's forum? You might be more likely to find that info there.
I did a search down there a while back and found a lot of stuff related to scale models and etc of the Deuce.
Maybe you could get a kindly mod to move this thread down there to see if...
WM ...
You got a mile or two driving these things ... didja ever have a full size swap ends on you?
When you're just a "Speedy Spec Four" THAT'S gotta set yer heart to racin'!!!
I used to work with a guy that put a jeep ... filled with commo gear ... upside down over in Germany.
He got...
Fortunately surgery wasn't required ... but my eyes are so jacked open ... I don't think I'll ever blink again!
I was wearing ear plugs ... so if the tires gave me a audible warning ... I never heard it.
It came around so smooth ... there was no drama at all.
THANK GOD its a fairly...
Lookin' GOOD, Hank.
That's what I got planned for mine ... solid green, some black markings ... maybe black wheels.
Classic and understated but always "right" and never out of style.;)
