From the basic blueprinting list you proposed ... the items numbered above are the ones I think will yield the most benefit .... if the benefit you are looking for is longevity.
Especially Balancing. I know you will want to have your machinist check the balance the pistons and rods. Maybe...
This might not be a bad idea.
Do you got a buddy that lives in Georgia?
"Sell" it to him ... Have him register it in Ga ... wait a bit .. then have him "sell" it back to you.
I'm pretty sure NOBODY asked to see anything ... but the VIN when I registered mine in Ga.
It would be a dang shame...

The kind that talk a lot of smack ... but don't have the guts to meet you face to face.
Further ... I'm willing to bet you know who did this. ... maybe not "know" them ... but you have had a contact of some type with...

Its been a couple weeks ... any updates to this thread?
I'm also interested in opinions concerning the feasibility/wisdom of doing this mod to a M35a2.

Just an observation ... I...

When I bought mine none of the signals worked ... it turned out to be the flasher unit ... BUT ...
I did a search here and saw that it was a real common problem.
I took my switch apart ... and found that many the contacts in there were green with corrosion. I cleaned them up ... and...
Its just like a big ol' library ain't it?

You got a white one? Most all the rest of us got green ones.
So what is it??? What year ... who built it?
Did it get rebuilt? (Hint ... look for tags that mention dates in the 1990's. You might find them on the right hand side of the engine and trans, as well as in the cab)...
BTW young fella, in your quest for “more power”, you might want to take a look at these two threads:

AND

Welcome aboard young fella ... good to have you here.
About that Mo' power you was asking about ... There is NO way that you could have known ... but you asked a question that gets asked a LOT around here.
Some folks around...
Its threads like these that have made me change the jar I've been savin' pennies in for an ETG ...

If you scatter that engine ... I'm switching again

Could I suggest putting your...

I trimmed the center stiffener on the front of the bed to bring the bed as close to the cab as possible. I have 1/2 inch between the rear (spring loaded) cab mount and the box.
You might want to go to this thread and look at the center picture on post # 23...
I, for one, appreciate all the gentleness and care that you are using removing this box seat.
Thank you for resisting the temptation to use the every popular and oh-so-handy smoke wrench.
Since that box is going on her side of the truck, my wife thanks you too!:-D
