I'm going to be passing through the area and if I was not bringing home a light tank on my trailer, I would of haul the V100 up for the parade. Maybe next year.
This is #1 of 2 new projects. The vehicle pictured below is the actual one I'm going to restore. Serial number 6 of 6 or 7 built. The pictures are from when it was being tested at Aberdeen (spelling?) in the late 1960s early 1970s. Hope to have the the Ga Rally in a few years.

1) It's not armored, except for a small part and it's tracked. Lots of fun. stay tuned for when I release the info.
2) It is armored and only 6 or 7 built.
There are enough M422 bodies out there are pretty much scrap that can be picked up or someone is parting out for panels that would cut the "tool boxes" out for you. I've cut out a few from beyond resto bodies over the years for people. I do not have any right now but if you are interested...
FYI on this engine. I ended up buying this engine and the remaining items from the seller. It sat in my truck for about 3 weeks with a tarp over it b/c I didn't have access to my garage b/c a **** M16 halftrack was blocking access. Finally moved the 1/2 track and unloaded the engine about 3...
The thin windshield was factory for the vast majority if not all the M422 & M422s produced. The M38A1 style windshield was a MWO issued right before production stopped or after. Most mites were converted during their service and a few made it out by being overlooked or sold prior to the MWO...
