please find it for me when you have a chance, someone told me they were the same or that you could use 5 ton, one person even told me humvee shocks. lol Anyway, two are leaking fluid from the top and need to be replaced along with the other (might as well do them all at once.
would greatly...
I tow my V100 (13-14K) on a 10 ton goose neck trailer with my Dodge 2500 and have no problems. I have a class E license in GA and have had no trouble from the DOT or Department of Public safety. My dodge is a 2005 with the 5.9L Cummings TD. I've done the following modifications:
1. Upgraded...
The only two "big" leaks I had in the hull were:
1. The side engine access door, I had removed the rubber seal a while back when working on it and had forgot to replace.
2. The driver side door, the seal between the top and bottom doors needs to be replaced as it does not provide a good seal at...
Will 5 Ton shocks work, I think there are two length 5 ton shocks, 14 and 18" ones. I think the 14s are the one that should work, just wanted to confirm before I order 4.
Thanks
Jason
i learned that the best type of tracked armor to have is one that belongs to a good friend that lets you play with it. I have a 1969 V100 Commando that is titled and tagged in the state of Georgia. It's a blast driving, just as easy as my dodge truck (considering a lot of the parts are Dodge...
I know of three of the original XM408s, one recenetly sold on ebay and was in very rough shape, one is in TN at a friend of mine's place and it is in pretty good shape and the other is in New England area if my memory serves, though it's been 15 years since I last heard of it.

This is in the state of Georgia
A few questions regarding towing my military vehicle. I have a 05 Dodge 2500 with a 5.9l cumming turbo with a banks exhaust brake and a 10 ton duel axle 25 ft goose neck trailer. The vehicle I will towing is about 13500 lbs and the trailer is about 5600 lbs...
Was curious if the standard rebuild or refresh kits that Boyce equipment sells will work with the V100 axles since they have a slightly larger diameter. I know the standard paper gaskets will work, but I'm more concerned about the inner and outer spindle hub seals. I noticed I have a oil leak...
Ever since I started driving the V, I had an issue with it wanting to drift from one side to the other while driving. It was a bit of a pain to keep her going straight down the road. Originally, I thought it was the old warn out original tires so I put a set of NOS ones I had on it. Still...
.308 feed chute is 10000000 x easier to find. only issue you'll have is attaching it to the side of a 1919. The 308 chute was made for the M60 and M134 and more than likely a few others. You'll have to find an adapter to make it work. Go to the 1919A4 board and they should be able to assist you.
Picked this up the week before last. All I knew it was a 30.06 ammo chute made by Standard Armament and was about 48-49" in length. Arrived last Friday and was very pleasantly surprised when I found a part number on one of the ends and the part number is the correct one for the long (right...
Wanted to see if there was any interest in having a few new weather boots for wide turret (the one with the smaller vision block on the front) made up. Spoke with David P. about a possible run of a few and wanted to see how many people needed one and were interested. Price will be what ever...
I'm going to go with the twin 1919a4s on mine as I have both little firing solinoids that push the trigger up on the 1919s. Both work too. Also found the correct 30/06 feed chutes for both left and right feed guns. Correct part numbers are stamped on them too. I'll post pic of the right side...
