Heard the one survived long enough (not sure which one) to say what happened. Also from what I've heard it was a hang-fire and the breech was opened too soon and it went off with it open. Not sure how far along in the process of removing the round was when it went off.

Looks like I might not be attending as the vehicle I was going to bring is now involved in an approx 40k lawsuit. I'm the plaintiff. Not driving it until drivetrain is inspected.
Here is what I've decided to do. Plugging off all holes from the inside with brass plugs, and using my 110 lb pressure pot I'm going to blast the inside with 2x used glass media. The pressure washer was able to get bast majority out but even with a 90 bend nozzle I could not get the old liner...

The original liner in the passenger side fuel tank is very badly deteriorated and starting to clog the fuel pick up from time to time. I've removed the filler neck assembly and have fairly good luck pressure washing out all the old led, scum and most the original liner down to bare metal. It...
I have a lock ring that is slightly out of shape when the tire place removed it, basically, it was bent outward and we can't seem to get it back in place. What is the best way, if there is one, to fix it?

I'm more worried about back lash, etc. Mine has a thin film of rust on the inside and a little rust of the gears, but nothing that has caused any pitting. Again, just more worried about getting everything set up properly. Any manuals out there that go through the rebuild process?

Anyone near Atlanta or in a 1 or 2 drive rebuild M35 Axles (2.5 ton Rockwells)? I have one that needs to be completely gone through, new bearings, etc. Any recommendations?
