since thought over time of folk fiddling with this we'd pretty much decided there is no pacbrake programing in the 3116 FMTV's (that spot in TCU was used for PTO programing or something to that effect? ) ...... thus was going forward with there is no such luck in that area and it will all have...
Did more research... there is discussion in here that as I understand it none of those 3 work if there is not enough pressure in the wet tank. Common issue it seems. Folk have to turn the valve on the air compressor up a little more so the tank can get to 120lb? That pressure is when the...
ahhhhhh...... so your referring the ones "under the cover of CITS's PCU manifold" found under the kick panel...... as mentioned in below thread
https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/diagnosing-ctis-m1078.200074/post-2330655
would this hold any gear from shifting up too? aka...... usable as manual button to access lock up like a Pacbrake programing would do automatically if TCU was programed for such?
under kick panel is the solenoid for the engine cooling fan and the solenoid for the "in between" rear axle locker if you have the 6x6.

Bingo you are correct (sorta) - these trucks were geared correctly..... for their military task...... which is NOT correct for our commercial or camper task as your examples show very well.
clarifying- out in the real world trucks reaction
> if Red gets frozen/blocked back tires lock up if was previously in park. ...
??? what if was not in park first (froze via wet freezing conditions while driving?) Would a back set of brakes slowly get applied until they lock and front is...
phew... that be tuff to put two spares and motorcycle. Weight wise. Is your rig close enough in your build to weigh it with any accuracy to use for caluclating a viable estimate of what each axle's weight will be if you had it loaded pre tires and bike? You'll need that to decide how much...
that is slightly..... lol. Granted what is slight in one trail in the world is very different than others..... Folks used to Elephant Snot mud in some places of the world would call that a sprinkling.
