my 5 ton did that a couple times, once in the 4th of july parade. had to put it in low range to move, and it stopped by itself. the m/c had crap in it , not letting the plunger return. replaced the m/c and been fine ever since.
iyeh, int title ser. is the way to go. try a friend in n.h. first. the dmv is a nightmare. i had one woman ,then she had to check with someone else, then he had to call boston, and then they said there had to be more than 5 serial #s. after 2 hrs they just wrote it up and said go to another...
i've been using one of those coleman tent heaters in my buggie for the past 5 years while plowing. i set in the right side floorand put a 20# propane in the bed, and run a 10 foot hose thru a hole in the floor to the heater.like they say , with all the drafts in the thing, you will not kill...
once in a while take it somewhere and go about 20 miles an hr and jump on the brakes. i was towing my p/u one day , went to slow down for a corner and pedal went right to the floor. always get ready to pull the emergency. had to do it a few times already. almost done replacing all the lines now.
reminds of a time way back i got thrown off a parkway in jersey in my p/u. the cop said if i had a cap on it , there'd be no problem??? went down the street, found another on ramp, and booked for mass.
just like the brake fluid ghost. before i go anywhere i peek in the master cylinder and sure enough the ghost has stolen some of my fluid, not much, but enough to say where the he-- is that stuff going?? use about a pint a year.especially when i do alot of plowing.
had a friend worked for a gravel hauler a while back, had this old person in front of him on the highway, wasn't going fast enough for him and layed on the air horns, scared the guy off the road ,and the company got sued form the old goat.
i always carry a couple buckets of sand in the back for slippery sitiatons. plus some small chains i run thru the spoke holes of the duals, usually good enuff to get you out of a bad spot.
