used to run those firestones on my p/u. they are great when new but as they wear down the middle tends to act like one big strip in the middle and they stink in the mud and snow. even on a wet road you lose traction in the center of the tire.
maybe ,just maybe, someone put one off a 5 ton on it. if so an airline will come off the airpack and go to the inside of the frame rail up under the drivers door to the switch. just a thought.
some states make their own rules. in texas, if a motor home has 3 axels you need a class b license to drive it. i think they picked that law up from cal. it's just legal robbery of law biding citizens.
find a farmer with a tractor, any body with a small wrecker with a 4 ton winch will be able to move it, no problem. i used to pull start a 62 autocar tenwheeler dump truck with my 1966 ford galaxie convert. every morning ,cause the guy was to cheap to get the starter fixed.
a deuce should'nt weigh more than 7 ton, 14k lds. my 5 ton only weighs 24k lds ,. and i pull it around with my 97 f-250, not very fast but i move it with my towbar.
