Just let mine get up to temp, brought it back home and let it idle building more heat. Got to 220 and no fan. Reckon I need to rebuild it or replace. I have o-ring sets so will try if rebuilding works first.
They will sometimes allow fuel to enter the crankcase, I think that may be the biggest reason to bypass. When bypassed, you will see a definite difference in fuel delivery. EGT gauge is recommended if you bypass. One of mine is bypassed, one isn't.
Builds air just fine. Has a brand new dryer. The compressor gets louder the closer it gets to being released through the dryer. Just dont remember my last one sounding like this. Video shows the noise vanish as soon as air is released. All good or do I have a problem???
Thank you!!!
I bought a set of these and they are decent. The orange plug that is part of the harness is 100% junk. I am needing some more headlights for other trucks and was wondering what longevity y'all are seeing with these? Have not had mine long and dont want to buy more if they aren't lasting very long.
I removed mine a while back and about to remove another. If you plug the supply and return line, I do not see a problem at all with that. It is isolating the system from fuel.
No idea where to post this....
I came across someone that had two sets of fiberglass troop seats for a deuce. One for regular bed and one for long bed. Good price so I bought them all....even had headache racks. Turns out, the short set won't fit.
The deuce bed stake pockets are 36" on...
