my 5 ton had the original little round ones until the town dot cop was behind me one night when i was plowing.at the coffee shop he politely asked me to get some lights that you could actually see in a snowstorm.
you redy for this ??? my buddie has two motorcycle batteries hooked together and has a slave cabel on it. he hooks it up to his 5 ton or deuce and every other 24 volt buggie he has and those little batteries fire off whatever he needs to jump. it amazes me and i laugh whenever he uses them..
yo i went to napa out here and they can get me a 24 volt headlight , no problem $,72.00. i asked the guy if he was on drugs? he says, i guess you don't want it huh?
first thing i did when i got my cheapos was squirt some air tool oil in each one and work it manually for a while ,put them on the truck 4 years ago and still working great.still squirt some oil in them at least once a year. :driver:
when i was trucking ,over 9feet needed wide load signs only ,no escort, under 12 feet wide, rear escort, and over 12 feet wide, front and rear escort.only for leagal 13 6 high loads. :driver:

RE: Re: RE: Lighting while towing.....
i picked up a set of tow lights at walmart .they got magnets and you can put them anywhere. just put in 24 volt bulbs.ithink the wire is 20 feet long too.used a flat 4 wire plug to hook to the trailer recepticle on the truck. :driver:
yep i put one on my beast,no more crawling under to turn the petcock.just yank the cable till all the moisture is out and let go.got it hooked to the running board :driver:
i think the only way you break a towbar is to install the adaptors upside down. you go over a small rise and they can't move like they are supposed to and snap goes the small end.i've gotten two bars with the small bars broken in half ,but i just put them back together and weld a collar on at...
RE: rear air
on the inside firewall near the steering column si a small valve that you can put a air hose coupling right on and is charged whenever the tanks are.just open or close when not in use
