    You REALLY want bullet proof? Have them foam filled. You will never have tire issues until you need to change them, then they need to be put on a lathe and the tire/foam machined off. Don't know if it is available for on road aps though.

    2 #10 swivels, a #10 union and 24 inches of i/2 in id clear hose. If they don't have hose that the reusable fittings will work on, the push on swivels work fine. Keep in mind this one is 25 or so years old.

    That is gear pump return. Should have zero effect on running, only a leak. Flow only, no pressure there and return to the tank. It does sound like air. Install a looped clear line at the pump inlet and look for bubbles coming from the chassis.

    Says it is e-Glycol based and compatible with ANY conventional coolant. I would say it is good to go with a green or blue coolant, POSSIBLY the Dexcool, Cat ELC, etc stuff. Easy way to tell is to mix this and a regular coolant and boil it. If it gels no good. If it turns dark but no thickening, GTG.

    Head gaskets won't put oil in the coolant. At idle and cold, the oil pressure is WAY higher than coolant/block pressure. Is the overflow tank above the exhaust? My best bet, without being there is a failed oil cooler bundle or just the o-rings considering how bad the cooling system looked before.

    You know not to toss the oil. Drain into a clean catch vessel, re install after the pan is back up. 7.5 gal low, 9 high. Check the stick calibration, remark if needed.
