    What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

    I would just rebuild the one you have and save the extra cash. I just rebuilt one of mine last weekend and it only took about 45 minutes. I'm sure that next time around it would only take 30 minutes. I got the parts form ASP and they shipped them the same day as ordered.

    I rebuilt the passenger side Alternator and it was a complete success. I replaced all three belts while I was at it. I also added a steering wheel lock chain with a hyd hose Kevlar cover (so I don't chew up the wheel and seat). My next thing is to figure out why the fuel gage reads whatever it...

    I looked at the CUCV Elec site and took notes. I read the TMs and took Warthogs advice and bought from ASP. Shipping was same day and had the parts in two days. I will rebuild these after work on Saturday and post how it went after. Thanks for your input. Bert

    Shortbus1, There is an aluminum part inside the front of the oil pan that is bolted to the block, the rubber pcs are between the aluminum bracket and the block. Bert
