Gunny are you going to run a 24v inverter? That would be a good setup for the house side forget the 12v side for anything outside of the cab. 24v is used for some really nice off grid setups so that would be the direction to look at for the house side. If you want to run more than a radio and...
Yeah don't get me wrong I have some of both but take the 816 for example it will drag any of the 936's like a Mastiff dragging a Beagle. I know this from owning more than one example of each 816, 936, 936A1, and 936A2. I too have a great 931A2 and regularly use it to haul up and down the hwy and...
Wes it is a bad idea on many levels I have refused to put wreckers on stepdeck trailers many times. The boom is going to be over height on most, the deck on the trailer is not rated for that much weight in one spot for the front tires, I have seen them bust through on a good trailer, ramps are...
It's all about what you are looking to do with the truck, if you are going to work the heck out of it heavy load go 250 with a manual transmission. If you want to use it like a pickup truck everyday driver and occasionally haul a load go with the 8.3 and automatic transmission. All military...
You can tell your partner that the military even used air ride seats in 939 series trucks. So you are not endangering the system, just add the seats like the military and every big rig on the hwy has done for years .

Guys most of the time you can remove the valve and clean it to get back going. It is not hard they tend to get gunked up from road grime just be careful not to damage the gasket or o-rings and clean and reassemble.

Also a trailer version that could be had with soft sides, hard sides, or fold out sides like the trucks above. The bat wing style is generally a machine shop and can be had on a trailer also.

Sorry for your pain. I had a similar thing happen years ago on my first day at work at a driveshaft shop, three of us were knocking u joints out at a big table and the owner reached and grabbed a PTO shaft instead of a drift and gave it a hard smack it spit a shard of steel straight into my...
Okay smarty pants let the opinions fly. What would y'all build for over the road trucking if you could only use 5ton Rockwell axles?

Hopeful that you would do it and tell me! I am sure there are some kits out there I have the Firestone bags on the back of my F350 and it was the best money I ever spent on the truck.

I forgot to say you can get them lots of places but cheapest around here is home Depot and I buy the 60 count bags by the case. I keep them in all my vehicles and in the house. Try them if someone finds something that it won't take off your hands post up I won't to know what it is.
