Also on GL auctions the ending time means nothing if someone bids with 1min left the ending time is now 5min further out. Its not a race to be the last bid like ebay.
I see you are in NY. Im also in NY and bought 5 units from fort drum. What location are you going to bid on items from?
I ask this because if its a fort drum auction you need to look at every picture of every generator up for auction. I have seen quite a few listings that they used the same...
The aux fuel line that comes with the units uses a -6 jic hydraulic fitting. Or you can just put a weight on the end of the hose and chuck it in the fuel. Idk where you are but im sure the storm has to be within a day or so of you.
Good luck and stay safe.
You can get name brand cheap filters from filterbarn.com. i ordered every filter for my 802 and i believe it was $36 shipped. I think that fuel filter was $7. Air was the expensive at $15.
Great looking unit. A 200hr unit is just out of the 100hr break in period. It should serve you a good long time.
Another good mod to do is the fuse and MOV mod thstnprotects the stator windings. Very cheap for what it does.
Running only a half hour is not much of a run. Doing a run every month is a little more frequently than needed. Monthly run is more of a gas generator thing.
Having some conditioned fuel on hand and a few filters and oil would be good. I believe they have a 100hr oil change interval? So thats...
Thank you for testing and posting your findings with the pump.
With your findings i would think the 6-8psi and 35gph airtex E8135 should work fine for the primary pump. It is 3/8 fittings and not 1/8in
The fitting size is not the only difference in the main vs aux pump. The output gpm and pressure are both different. Will an easier to find aux pump work for the main? I dont know...im still trying to figure this out.
R22 is not obsolete and they still make it until 2020. There are currently r22 direct drop in replacements. So dont make the fact that its a r22 unit a major decision factor.
I just put a central ac in my house that takes r22. It was a used unit i got for free. Also if you have a few minutes...
It sounds easy and works but the intake to the engine on thesr are way up in there and can run on very little air. I had one rev way up in me...still cant remember how i got it shut off as i was running around trying anything. The rack ended up being stuck in the engine on that unit.
Theres a...
In NY we always use 15w40 all year. Unit should be warmed up prior to loading. Rotella is a good diesel oil. Synthetic really isnt needed ad most people change there oil in the generator due to age not hours.

I think i paid less than $25 for two fuse holders and the fuse shipped. I didnt know what holder to get so got both.
