There is a difference between #1 and #2 diesel, the #2 is more viscous and used in warmer weather. There may be a slight difference in color and if your FDC is bypassed the #2 will also give you more power for a given foot petal position since it's a higher BTU fuel.

Good point about the "120VAC only". Reason for my 10KW head failure is now heavily in favor of seriously unbalanced loading, which must have overheated the stator windings. The dirt and gravel inside the housing may have played a role, but it's now less likely, considering how we used it.
The HIAB is attached with bolts to the frame in a clamping fashion. It wouldn't be that time consuming to raise it on its outriggers and boom as a tri-pod, unbolting it, disconnecting the hydraulics and drive off...(small image, will try to locate the original photo...)
Hmm...the military vaporizer is designed to let the compressor draw alcohol vapor along with the air to be compressed when running, it's not an "in-line" type of thing.
As far as the fluid, the military specifies methyl alcohol.
Guys, filament type lights will have what's called an "inrush current", which can be 5 (five) times or more the rated current. Relay contacts should be selected, taking this into consideration. Properly specified relays or contacts should have the "lamp load" listed.

The hard top may offer additional placement options, but it should also fit behind the passenger seat (deuce cab is similar) and all is turned on/off via the MX7777 below the passenger seat. I kept the headsets suspended above and behind for out-of-the-way stowage.
