Patrick, this info may be old now, but anyway, the weight ratings I have for the 1100-20 NDC tires are 5,190 and 5,920 dual or singe config respectively.
I got print-outs at the scales, typically as show below with the deuce hauling the 8x8.

True, but like you suggest, abnormalities don't need a baseline for comparison. Coolant, fuel or excessive amounts of soot in the oil can be included.

If you can't avoid mud and water, make sure the fording plug is installed. The starter motor housing is water proof. Also check the wheel bearings after each "dip" in water deep enough to submerge the axles.
I have to say not related, the m656 series by Ford, was designed to replace both the 2-1/2 and 5 ton vehicles. Program started in the early sixties and lots of components were made exclusively for this series, including tires and engine (modified multifuel).
Well, after scraping some paint of the tag and reading it from an angle, the part number for the cylinder appears to be Vickers S20826-3CBWN W07N-11 036.

The information in the images below should be sufficient for you to make your own cable and control box. The control box and cable are the same for all, so overlook the fact that it is for a "coolant" heater in the diagram...
