Not uncommon for all fluids to have been drained when something comes back from overseas.
Assuming that's the scenario.
I bet GP didn't list it as a runner at auction...(good thing they didn't run it w/o oil).
Are all the other fluids missing?
A drain plug can be found at...
It's at best, a $300 max option to me. I may just slap one of these down if anything. I'll have lots of diesel for the gen. And I doubt it takies long to heat up.
;)...
Yep, hydronic systems are the rage (and handy for heating the block, etc if done right).
But they're also like $4K for the silly heater and then you start buying fittings and....ka-ching...
Oh yeah, I've have the hab mocked up in various floorplans for a couple years now. I just gutted it all again to fit the kitchen module. All just working mockups, of course. Still shuffling the interior layout around a bit...improving, changing as I spend more time in it.
A buddy gave me three boxes of flooring that I'm going to use. Four boxes would be 100% coverage but he said that this was a discontinued flooring. So if I don't lay it under the kitechn cabinets and bathroom, I'll have exactly enough.
A few months back I also snagged...
Related question:
Laminate flooring is not recommended to be glued down. Since it is a floating floor, it is meant to support itself via locking systems and have no connection to the subfloor. Buti t's also meant to be used in a house. And houses don't flop 3-4 root in the air going...
OK, Step got back to me with..... a $1300 (shipping not included) quote for one 3' x10' section.
So it turns out that is NOT the brand I'll be going with.
LOL
Yeah, that's the stuff.
No callback from their CS nor the closest distributer, though.
As much as I hate Amazon's politics and polices, I sure wish they sold this shit. They have other brands but I can't find a 24v solution like STEP RV.
:)
Why the f*** I'm messing with this addition when the last place that I ever want to travel would be some place "cold"....
But I have my hab gutted for a mockup module shift , rearranging some things, adding in my kitchen module and fridge (I'm tired of all the build bits taking...
You'd want to start with the full weight of the cab (occupants, ac, stereos, etc). You'd base your coil weight from that: (x - pivot relief)/2
Or something along those lines with math and dollar signs involved.
;)
And yes, I understand you are talking about replacing the airbags with shocks.
I'm just making a generalization here so people understand the cab and chassis suspension changes to the A1R are unrelated. The coil over has nothing to do with t he lack of air ride.
:)
I track, just saying that the coil over is not related to the cab air.
With or w/o cab air, I could run either the standard of the coilover shock. Same, same (just one is way stiffer). It's not related to the cab float (as there is none). For that matter, it's unrelated to trucks with...
