Yes, I haven't really read the -10 manual cover to cover.
What I have done is read all those posts before.
For the fan, I already have a switch wired into that so I can turn it on and off for Fording and what not.
In reference to #3 I read on another post that with just the snorkel and...
Okay so I am weighing the usefulness of the DWF for me.
I do a lot of 4x4 adventures out in the mountains and I often have to cross small deep 'rivers' (not moving, most of the time). Generally it's a simple in and out as they are not that wide. Most are around 2 ft deep in the middle and...
Dude. I'm not here to talk about any other thread. I was asking a different question, and to be frank, that thread is old enough I doubt anyone would bother to respond to some added piece of info in an old thread. Trust me, I've done it and had no one reply simply because it's been silent for a...
1. There are only two wires that are supposed to be down at the horn, for some reason there's a third mystery wire as you see in the picture.
3) brackets are about 2 inches off they are just in the wrong place so I have to drill another set of holes next to the existing holes on the winch
I have a couple questions, and no these are not the normal ones that can be solved by a manual, I already have the installation instructions.
1. I have the A2 harnesses in and there appears to be a third male connector right by the horn wires.
No place for it to plug in, maybe the A2s had this...
I will be storing my humvee for 3 months soon and there will be no one to drive it or operate it for that time.
I wanted to see what everyone thinks about what I should do prior to parking the vehicle and leaving.
So far I got: Disconnect batteries, chock the wheels, park it in a garage...
Sorry, but these are two different problems.
My squeaky suspension is front left steering rod arm.
This is a lower ball joint on the left rear hub.
When the tire is on and the suspension is working there is no squeaking. It only squeaks when I pull the hub up and down, and barely even then.
Just did a quick inspection of my lower ball joint on my right rear hub and noticed that it has about a 1/16 of an inch of movement in it. Should I go ahead and replace it? Is this dangerous?
Also I looked at the tie rod and noticed that the hole in the stud for the retainer clip is way below...
I do have the keyed ignition switch, could the internals have gone bad and is giving 24v to both run and crank?
Could the starter solenoid be bad? Or is it more likely the switch?
