If I remember correctly there was a jeep plant both in Israel and Egypt at that time. Both of these plants have produced some very interesting variants of the jeep.
The duece, 5 ton and commercial trucks share a standard 34" frame. The same hitch fits a lot of trucks you just have to drill 6 holes. I seem to remember that you have to turn the pintle hook sideways to use the reciever.
Been there done that. The old 10-20 tires used to blow out all the time. It did not help that we were running at 60k on a 10 wheeler. We used to get the truck out if the traffic lane and call the tire changer.

Seriously once the tire is on the ground it is not to hard, the spring brakes will lock the hub, the height can be adjusted by the jack and a shovel or bar us used for leverage
The bar laying in the seat cushion needs to be bolted to the bracket on the back wall if the cab.
