Patrick graduates MCRD
One of our nation's newest Marines Friday, with his now-corporal brother and college senior sister.
We had not thought Davey was going to make it to Patrick's graduation due to deployment conflicts, but he managed to get there in the nick of time. A pleasant surprise...
Mark, basically, the 939 cab is about a foot wider than the 809 cab. Top, windshields, etc. are all wider. Come look at my stuff if you want to see.
Cheers
Come on by! I have most of it operational, most of the time. If I was smart, I'd have one little jeep......
Butch, looking forward to what y'all come up with. [thumbzup]
Cheers
I hadn't really thought of the booster not being in the stock place. Phil, does your setup look similar to this?
Cheers
ps- Wow! the site really squeezed that picture down and took all the quality... But it still shows what it needs to.
Presuming you refer to 6TLs, since civvie batteries tend to be smaller - nope, just tilt the left side up and pull it out.
By 'just' I do mean wiggle it, squirm it, cuss and sweat a lot. Best not to have ladies or children nearby. This is from recent personal experience.

Unfortunately just myself and something scraped out of my savings account in case I find treasure. :-P Its just too far to bring a vehicle, at least for me it is.
Cheers
I took a peek at that website and was amused to see the M1003. I haven't seen that particular truck for what, two hours now? My neighbour Sarge and I were looking at it this afternoon and talking about how much fun its going to be to fix the flat tire so he can take it to the car show on...
While my M270A1 is a great trailer, it is 50' long which makes it a bit awkward to maneuver around downtown and other places where we go to events. The rather high deck also makes for difficult loading and unloading of the V, needing a dock or loading ramp.
So, I found this one. It is an old...
Yep. Vann got in the driver's seat saying "It's been 40 years since I drove one, don't know if I even remember how to start it..."
Took him 25 seconds to remember and have it running.
Would have had more wheel time for you gents if ya hadn't broke it! :-P
I did figure out why it kept...
Like Louie said, it is where the slave receptacle goes, for providing external power for jump starts, etc. The little slot next to it is where the master electrical power switch should be.
Attached pictures should give a good idea of what should be there.
Just FYI, the engine will begin to...
