The inner body is machined leaving a small ridge that fits between the threads and hex on the plug. You unscrew the plug so the threads are exposed, back off the outer sleeve on the tool and insert the tool over the plug, then screw the outer sleeve over the plug and against the cylinder head...
Still have about 75 left. Those that sent a check your order will go priority mail Friday. I ran out of boxes and the multi order shipping program has been crapped out. Sorry for the dealy but if I use online shipping I save you $$$ on the shipping. Thanks for all the orders, glad I can help.
The 24v gear reduction starters are on ebay for $129.00, make sure you also get the correct support bracket as it is different for the gear reduction starter. I just bought one for my M1009 and it works great, also lighter and smaller, easier to get back in.
Mine fits the same as well, I think carefully taking a small diamond bit on a dremel will fix it, just a very little on the forward end, I would wrather have it tight on the plug than loose.
It does not have enough strength to operate with the throttle closed. You have to advance it with no pressure on it then try to activate it. Same thing when you start it cold, if you don't push the throttle down the plunger won't engage. The temp sensors do go bad, I just replaced one on mine...

I dont' like them, there is a company on ebay selling new dashpads. Keep you eye out for people parting out cucv's here all the time, I just got alot of rust free parts from a poster here. One of the first things I ask for is the dash pad. The gov't replaced alot of them so there are some around.
If you use the EUC form on GL it will have a blue box pop up on every entry that explains what to put in each box. To answer you question "personal" and just the event number"3955" not the lot number.
