Replace all of the rubber fuel lines it sounds like a air leak in one. It is very common on the a2s not sure why but they seem to be more sensitive to small amounts of air getting in the line than the 250.
You guys are all shrimps, I am 6'8" and 340 lbs and I can drive one! Now the a2 is a little more fun I have to open the door to use the clutch but still not bad, I drove a 816 daily for a year or two!
