Disconnecting the fording kit on a M923...

Okay just unhook the vent line on the transmission. Leave the other lines alone you are going to have so many things undone and twisted around you won't ever be able to get it back right. Don't go running other ball valves and lines. Deal with 1 problem at a time. First you are changing to many...

Big I have to do this soon also where do you get these claws? And do you use a square nut or hex? not sure how these would work with carriage head bolts.

    Rust! Am I done for?

This maybe why they glue them in now and as one of the few on here who has rolled one of these trucks at speed I can tell you that the back and front glass do not add any real protection and will pop out with very little pressure. The roof of these trucks are weak if not for rollbars me and some...

    No fuel suction

You said you replaced all the fuel lines, with what type of hose? The military uses the high pressure fuel injection type hose that has wire in it to keep it from collapsing under suction.

    the XM971 "command camper" build

Yeah most outlets at the RV parks are setup on different breakers for this reason. As for the inside breakers there are many boxes on the 971 and are already split off the input as 120v boxes. There has to be several thousand dollars worth of just electrical in these trailers.

    the XM971 "command camper" build

I thought that might be your argument and I agree that it should be the male on the trailer. I personally am going with a 50 amp setup and balance each hot leg so I can split it and pull from two regular 120 outlets if needed.

    Kitchen Trailers MKT-90

Not a manpower thing but money they shut most of the post down for what they call a Mississippi Monday to save money. This is not a federal government owned base it is owned and operated by the state. There are also no GL employees here they have to drive from Alabama or Florida.

    Kitchen Trailers MKT-90

The government cutbacks have them shutting down a lot of Mondays and Fridays. If you call me I can get it just off post to my compound. And you can even pickup on weekends.

    Lowering Pintle Hitch

They sell the plates with holes predrilled in them in different sizes. Buy one long enough to make up the difference and weld it on with the gussets like you see in the pictures and you are good to go.

    Lowering Pintle Hitch

It will be easier to change the trailer and the air should be fine.

How much can a 5 ton tow?

Chess not sure what you are doing to your trucks but I am not what anyone would say is easy on my trucks and I have never broken any part you listed. And out of 2000 five tons we have gone through at Camp Shelby I have only seen 2 bad center sections and one broken spring and it was on the rear...

M939 series 5 ton, aftermarket air filter

I doubt it will need to be cleaned every 6 months. Hook up the filter minder and use that to tell when to clean it, most people clean them to often.
