So I started with the batteries one last time. Dropped in a set of 13v+ bats that had been charged last week and still holding full.
The "click" I can hear is confirmed as coming from under the cab/driver side (assuming that is the starter relay). The starter relay is mounted just above the...
True but the South Texas coast is another story. We saw it dip below 32 degrees for a couple hours only twice this year (and we are already about to slide on into spring). If you don't like the conditions in South Texas, just wait until tomorrow.
But yeah, it's a *big* state as they also...
I'm curious about how this turned out. My A1R (which was running fine) is showing 12.5v-12.7v on each *wet* cell 6TMF batteries. If they were Hawkers I would say they are suspect, but being wet I suspect they are alright. Load tests all show good and they are wired correctly.
The other day...
Trial by fire, good for you. Being sure that I could get the spare off in the dark by myself was the first thing I did when I got my first truck. And a couple hours isn't bad for a swap. Pulling a tire off the truck and replacing it is one of those things best not rushed, IMO.
Looking forward...
I can deal with computers for 330 hp. I drove my A0 up a few hills in highway traffic doing 40 mph in a 75. Not really safe.
And off-road the added power doesn't go to waste.
ymmv
:)
It's the only way I would go. I'm from Texas and especially down South *if* we see a freeze it may be back in the 80's the next day. I'd much rather pop a few snaps on the grill than have to crawl around reaching up inside the rad when you need it.
There is a fellow over on FB LMTV about to drop in his 3.07's who was asking about methods and measurements techniques. If he is going this route, he would be a good candidate to tinker with it. Let me ask if he's a member here.
Oh they have. I vaguely recall it discussed before I got mine, but I don't have it bookmarked.
I've got the cruise control info, but nothing on the speedo.
This is the only thread that I have bookmarked and it seems to cover only the A0 with 3.07 gears. You've likely been thru it already.

Someone (it most likely was on the FB LMTV page) was going to use an electric for the relocated tire lift on a camper build. They were asking about a motor they had selected, and it was the same one that Seth had used to replace his air-over-pneumatic cab pump and Seth highly recommended it...
Didn't Seth from Adventure Driven do this about a year or two back?
I seem to recall him posting about it when someone found a pump that worked. He said it was the one he had used.
I don't recall if it was posted here or on the LMTV FB group...
