Finally got MEP004A #2 up & running, but it has a few problems. Many gauges are intermittent (Describe intermittent) (which could be from the long time sitting), and NO warning/test lights at all. (Did you chect the fuse? Test it dont just look at it.If the fuse is good, I will tell you how to...
True. If the outside of the tank is dry, its not the hose. The cap should have a pressure relief valve in it. It needs to be open when you are running. Closed if there is a chance that water can get in. I have NEVER seen anyone change positions on it, including me. Always left it open. There...
If I were you, I would change the name of this thread to the type Shelter, (S250/E&G) you are working on, instead of the trailer model. You get more visability. Or keep this thread, and use it for the trailer. And start another for the Shelter.
The leak could be because the rubber hose between the tank and the assembly that the cap screwes into is no moner tight. There are two hose clamps. If they are loose, or have slipped out of place, it leaks class 4 easy.
Have you downloaded the TM's yet? The parts TM is a good reference to the...
I have seen it a lot in construction equipment here in Germany. Farm equipment also. As far as trucks? No idea, never seen it, but I do not fool with any trucks here. Will see if the guy that comes to pick up my scrap metal and electronics containers on Wednesday can tell me anything.
I get 303.6 ohm's when measuring 148C and 147C. Do I need to fix this? How to fix this?
This is too low a reading. Did you check it first at the MPU, (wires unhooked?) and then at the A5, (Wires unhooked?)
I was able to get one on Amazon MSP6729
The part number I posted was MSP6735. I hope...
You can also use the Army tried and true method of securing the truck. Weld a heavy duty chain to someplace in the cab, and loop it through the steering wheel. Heavy duty lock. Like Third From Texas wrote, if someone wants to steal it, they will. You just need to make it harder.
Attached is the LO. It tells you what to use. You live in Florida. The chart says 30 wt in temps above 32+ Degrees. The army spent a lot of money to figure this out. I would do what the chart says. Its all we used in the Army, and worked just fine. Even in weather under 32+ degrees.
Kurt and I talked about this, shortly.
1. You changed the old one out because it was also burnt?
2. You are 1000% sure you wired it right?
3. Did you ever see the set work right?
4. Have you, (or someone else) made any other repairs on the set of late.
5. Have you pulled the AC output box off...
I dont know. There are several different sizes. In the norm, if it fits in the hole, it should work.
I know that NSN: 6695-01-367-9723, part # 88-21061
or
NSN: 2815-01-499-1057, part # 96-23734 or MSP6735 Will fit.
Mostly I tell people to take the bad one to a Truck repair shop, and tell...
