Things like this can happen, easy. I about went out of my mind, doing an inventory for a unit. Three trailers had serial numbers, that did not exist. TACOM looked and looked. At last, we just changed the numbers in the paperwork and TACOM changed the data base. About a year later, when the CWO...
I pulled the who thing out. Simpler that way. AND, you get a chance to clean up in there. Have seen two failures where a nut fell into the place where the tank sits. Then moved under the tank. Years of use, wore a hole in the tank. So it never hurts to clean as much as you can.
When ever you are not sure if a TM is the right one for you, look at the TM cover. It lists all the variants by Model number, and also important, NSN. Why NSN? because while the model number is for that type truck, the NSN can often tell you if it is with, or without a winch. Or other slight...
I thought I had a list of all MWO's for the M939, but none of them, (7 each) dealt with the light. Will look some more tonight. Might be something that happened after the 5 ton CD came out that I have.
Wish I knew why it burned out. Maybe the loose transistor on voltage regulator did it
This is a very normal failure for this card. It is not a VR problem. I hope you took the card out and looked at the back side to see if the traces are gone too. Member @kloppk makes these cards and upgraded...
You are looking at TM page numbers. I was looking at the PDF page numbers. That"s why I wrote, "Open up TM 9-2320-366-20-1" and " Scroll down to PDF page #160. "
First look and see if the CT's are wired correctly. How many loops go through them? Should be 8 times for a MEP-802A.
The S6 has nothing to do with your problem. Its for meters only. S8, not you may just wind up taking it apart, of simply loosening it. up. Get more spray into the switch then.
Exactly. Maybe a tad smaller, but that's about we used.
In later years, when some of the sets we fixed were in the can point, I would take compleat wire harnesses, and strip individual wires out. So the wires looked like they had never been damaged. But you can do that when you have 12 guys in...
Its not that hot in the AC section. So go ahead and use the DYMO. We had some wire ties that had a tag on it. You could write the wire # on the tag. What ever you think will work for you. Some of the wires I would compleatly replace. Like the one that goes to the PP Ground. Its short, easy to...
The Day Tank fuel solenoid gets its signal from the FL1/FL2 switch. What I normally do is pull the FL1/FL2 switch out of the day tank, hook the C-plug back up, and turn the switch up side down. Then turn the set on, to the run position. Don't start it, just the S2 in the run position. Then hold...
Using the wire diagrams, you should be able to easy fix this damage. Wont say it will be fast, but its an easy fix. Here I will say, check every wire in your hand, 3-4 times. Then maybe ONE more time. You need to be 1000% right, on every one, or you might be trying to find a whole wire harness...
