Not to be nitpicking, but the original Purolator/Facet filter elements are 4 micron nominal, 15 absolute (P/N 053161-04). The primary water separator/filter is 40 microns...
Problem(s) with used engine oil may not be apparent after only a few thousand miles and there is also the possibility of...
Like it! Surprised at the steep angle of the deck though, almost 45° from the looks of it.
You know Joel, with our pipeline beds (roller in the rear) and HIABs we could do almost the same thing. :-)
Like gimpy says, all parts must move freely. Here are images to refer to.
When you had the shut-off assy out , was it turning easily then?
You may have over tightened the two mounting screws, if so, re-torque the screws and install safety wiring.
The crankshaft turns twice for each turn of the IP timing gear, you are 180 degrees out for all timing marks to line up.
If nothing is turned when the HH is off, it will all be back to normal after it is back together, like scrapman says.
Thanks for taking the detour Duncan, better hang on to what we have left of the m656/xm757 trucks in this country, since they appear to melt away quickly over there.
Tom, the 5th wheel and dromedary platform on the 757 weigh about as much as the aluminum bed on the 656 cargo version. The...

After a short test drive the other day to find out how the bogies behaved on the 8x8, I have discovered that the "sealed for life" torque rod bushings are frozen, just like the steering ball joints were (also "sealed for life").
The steering joints, were cooked in oil for 4 hours and loosened...
