Any driveline brake, jake, hydraulic , exhaust brake, pinion or electric will have the same problem on slippery surfaces. Use with regular "service" brakes and with caution.

Excellent suggestion Leonard, I believe in purposely venting spaces, enclosures too, for that matter. Most of my can brackets show rust damage on the bottom.

98hd, about your controller, it's for the older gasoline fired units. You are better off locating the correct box with indicator light and connector (in the rear). There is some demand for the 978 control box, so hang on to it.
