If it starts, the it must be hot enough for the "transfer" switch to operate. If it stalls out after that, then there is a fuel delivery problem IMHO, like in the fuel control valve.
Open the bleed valve on it and if there is fuel flowing, then you'll need to check calibration of the valve...
This may or may not be related, but bias ply tires develop flat spots when the truck is parked for some time, often for as short a period as overnight if it's cold out. Drive until the tires warm up and it should go away.
Of course, tire pressure is by the book etc, right?
Seems a little short for the tractor-semitrailer cable, mine is about 10 ft long...
The "hot" contacts in any assembly should be female, so this cable should have one male and one female connector.
The NSN for mine is 2590-00-815-5925 (took a while to dig up).
The blower, used for the defogging system on the m656/xm757 series seems unique like so many other parts on these trucks and I need help finding a good sub.

Chris, I'm getting dangerously close to take the 757 for some good road testing, but want all the little things working right, like the torque rods, for example. Got an insurance quote from Gulfway for $250 and registration will be as an antique vehicle so that's only $50.
So, a side by side...
Thanks for your confidence SrJeeper, however, I may have been guilty of posting an image, showing the wrong connections in my haste to explain the install some years ago.
Anyway, the flow of coolant thru the engine is shown in the image below and you have it correct Frank, from the...
Remember that all your ground returns to the batteries rely on the sheetmetal-to-sheetmetal bonds and ground straps, so check those first and reference your measurements to the NEG terminal of the (supposedly) grounded battery. Yes, it may mean one really long wire for your DVM or VOM.
