CoachGeo was the first to order these and they should be coming in pretty quick.
These were the shocks. Assuming that they work, Monroe should be able to cross-ref them to a current product code.

I've always kept tenders on my Harleys and my off-road cars. I've never mounted them onto the vehicle, though. I've always the run leads to a disconnect setup on the vehicle and left the power pack inside the garage (of course, my cars were typically 12v dual batteries in...
So I want to start putting together a toolkit for my truck. Curious what others are carrying. I feel like I'm missing something...

SOP. Towed a car out of the sand today. Pretty much every day at the beach I get 1-5 people come ask me or flag me down for a recovery. It's actually worse when there is almost no one out there on the weekdays (fewer trucks running around to pull folks out). The big fun is late at night at...
And we've seen late model M1078A1's sell for over $25K recently. But as pointed out above, location (it was sold in CA where $117K/yr is "low income"). ;)
But the most expensive M1078 sold today was $8700 out of Vegas. After that came a non-running winch truck from Tx.
Actually, that was a M1079 today. Running M1079's fetch high prices, yes.
I've seen non-runners go that high since I started watching them a few years ago.

When you say that you "re-routed some vent lines, can you elaborate?
I plan on adding a wench and really want to free up the space. As you said, they can always be re-installed should an emergency arise.
Well, for a $10 mod I'm quite pleased. It should save some tread and possibly a bit of fuel on the road. As for off-road, I think 27 psi in the sand should be enough and can always air down further as needed (I do a LOT of sand driving). The 45 psi might be a hair high for xcountry, but...
Yes, same size (the OEM on mine would have uses a larger wrench to remove, but it had a small copper extension). Body of the transducer and length were the same, though.
One of the guys on FB pointed out that there are some that mount from the bottom so I'm sure there were several adaptations...
I've made these for our cars over the years (basically for chase crew, pit crew, or shop mechanics). In some cars I hard-mounted the switch system at the engine. In others I set it up as a tethered device that plugs in for use.
So I've been pondering what it will take to make one for the...
Well, got my 150 lb pressure sensor for the CTIS PCU installed today (thanks for the tip, Tom Bauer). Shipped from China but arrived in 5 days. Installation (swap out with OEM) took all of 10 minutes.
CTIS now produces as follows...
Highway: 75 psi
XCountry: 45 psi
Sand: untested due to...
