Don't use farm pins they are most grade five or less and even if you find the grade eight pins that is still less than real tow bar pins. Please do the reading on here about Towbar pins.

Nope sorry Ron but the synthetic line is abrasion resistant better than steel but can be cut, overall it is much safer short or long term use. They even use it on tugboats! Only down side I have found so far is how to terminate the ends.
