Here's the deal; I'm a product designer and... I'm building a Deuce. I'm going to make a lot of custom parts for it. A lot of those parts are going to be laser-cut sheetmetal parts. The kind of stuff that it's a shame to make only one/two of. So if anybody else is interested in any of this...

It was a two-part question. 1) If you've done it, have you modified them, run them upside-down/right-side-up, etc.? 2) Got some? I want them. If you can't answer part one or two...

Looks like it would work well on the back of a deuce too if you moved the air supply lines.

Does anyone use the front fender-mounted headlight mounting brackets as taillight guards? The taillights on my M353 trailer hang down below the belly of the trailer, and those might make good skidplates. Anybody got a parts truck with an extra pair of those brackets? Maybe send me a PM?

I bought an aluminum boarding ladder and also mounted a 10ft uhaul boarding ramp between the framerails. It's good to have options. I'd like to know how the aluminum ladders are supposed to be mounted, and I'd be equally interested in hearing about what any of you may rigged-up.

Sounds cool, but why not just swap-in another transmission, maybe using a custom adapter?

I need 13 80% or better 11.00R20 radials ASAP. Had a deal going with 100dollarman that fell through, and now I'm down here in CA with an empty trailer and no tires to haul back up to OR. So if anybody has a lead on tires on the west coast, please let me know.

I've already added a muffler, and a pyro is on the list. I think the fuel has already been turned-up, because this thing runs pretty strong. There are no cats, except for me (Jesse Katz -> jesusgatos), but I've got two dogs that will be traveling with me.

I'm actually supposed to be picking up a set of 13 Firestone T831 11.00R20's from 100dollarman on this trip and... I'm going with a full-hydro steering setup so I'll be able to run a much smaller steering wheel.

That's what I've been thinking about too. I've got a box seat though, and I haven't found a spring seat to play with yet. I'm halfway through a 1,500 mile road-trip right now and that project will be near the top of my priority list when I get back home...
