Well here is picture of my wrecker with it's kit out. sorry about the fuzzy pictures will post better ones when I get them off the other camera. It was Huge event somewhat spoilt with bad rainy weather.
Seeing these pictures has inspired me to "get at it" with restoration I have taken up..a similar willys 1942..but missing 1000s of parts..(or so it seems) and I just needed a stirr to get me motivated and actually started on it. Thanks..and good luck and success with your resoration.
There are two on my truck body, (which is from a Praga radio survailance vehicle), And they are air powered in 6 foot sections. ( operated through 24 volt solonoids) Quite impressive at shows and such..and to obtain one (of russian or U.K. manufacture might be prohibitive, so I would look for...

Our local country show. Convivial company great site, trees lakes, BBQ (perla) with camping. Well supported and with my collection making a contribution. The weather was perfect also.
On my M45 fire unit loaded (6000 gallons of water) it steers fine and parks (by shunting back and forth) in an awkward poition in the garage without problems. All the air valves are present and correct.
Welcome to the site..that looks a fine jeep ...when are you getting....a ......KRAZ!..fine trucks and an awsome drive, sometimes I regret selling mine, but things move on and we (eventually) get too? old for some of our "things" ( say's me with Nine of those "things!).
