Side Fender Mounted Turn Signals on M1009

The dodge dakota's and chevy cheyenes we sold from the u.s. military were allways converted to have side turn signals. we found that under the side reflectors was enough spacing to allow a bulb holder to fit easily, and simply ran a duplicate wire to those lights from each of the front turn...

Looking at buying my first deuce is this a good deal?

With all the buddies on this site (and in your area?) It would be (very) wise to perhaps have someone "in the know" accompany you to view / drive / purchase. (especially after comments bordering on warnings (Caveat emptor))Etc. Etc.

    ACMAT trucks

Small world..I hope you enjoy that truck more than I did..It was impressive looking but I found it rather cumbersome for the size, even with the power steer etc. I did think it would be a big improvement with a big 6 or V8 petrol. If I had kept it I would have put the allmost new V8 deisel F350...

    ACMAT trucks

Acmat Had one of those found it noisy and too much vibration and rather slow for long journeys. (more than a deuce) They have the 6 cylinder perkins direct injection deisel, some slighter better ones are turboed. (and they will tolerate a contam mix) They are based closely on Dodge running...

Is it safe to coast backward in forward gear m813?

The short (and only) answer is you WILL do damage to the sprag clucth mechanism. In our club We have a few deuces with no front wheel drive deu to (having had ) this happen , And also probably when they were used setting off in second or third from reverse. Another BAD practice.

7.3 V8 normal aspirated Diesel engine problem

This problem is now Resolved, and the cure..after pondering in a late night dream!..WHY does the engine "go out" after 5 seconds every time? The consistant factor was (is) the timer delay relay AND my attempts to start it using (aproximately) the same timing with a bypassed timer. For first time...
