    Is there a clutch option?

On reflection. Unlikely the gearbox. ((UNLESS a "burred shaft" overmuch endfload???) Is it possible for you to take this truck on a long private road? and, with ALL clutch operating items disconnected AND checking absalute thrust release bearing clearences...see if you get "top gears slip"...

    Is there a clutch option?

cause and effect have to agree with 73819..There IS a CAUSE. Stressing everything up is "masking" the (orriginal) problem. As previously stated there ARE many many other heavy applications deuces are used for. With old worn whatever, but no problem clutches. I ran my deuce 300 miles towing and...

    M62 WRECKER/ RECOVERY Ops FILM

PTO wear Actually the "clutch" for the crane and rear winch is on the back deck. Sometimes people collecting a Wrecker have thought "wow bad deal" no clutch! to be advised (hopefully!) the air pressure build up on start up and running De-Clutched the gearbox!. What a relief that must turn out...

    Rear Axles are not Aligned

Axle Allighnment Suprised you haven't had the (huge?) "BUMP" ("What HAVE I hit??" ( jumps out in panick , looks..sees nothing!))when you turn/backup tight..makes you really jump if you aren't aware of whats going on!.. The rear axles "allighning themselves". Lube prevents this. But scary if not...

    M62 WRECKER/ RECOVERY Ops FILM

Winching instruction Error? Film Shows Release tensioner Lock IN ( DOWN) winching OUT. The Cable Tensioner should be in the RELEASE (UP) position to winch out. For a training film it is rather ambiguouse, as The "review" at the end does NOT make it clear if the the proceedure is the winch...

    M54A2 Super Single Wheels?

Whell fitting Simply replace to fronts as is, and also put the rears on as is minus the inners. Use the square wheel "nuts" to fasten them on. I did my deuce this way. Having them as inners retained gives a Really skinny stance. This is ok up 1400x 20, I wonder if 1600s might stick out...

Charging I use 24 volt De-Sulphators on all my trucks. And a 24 volt one on the underfloor nikes for the inverter in the reo. Once FULLY charged they maintain the batteries ok and in fact two old 12 volt 120 Amp volvo frieght truck batteries "came back to life" after 4 weeks from flat to full...

Outrageouse I saw that and FELT pain!..We all want you to have justice served and be compensated. Check on that VIDEO SOONEST. And a description should help track the "van". The GAS will have come from an "interstate supplier". A clients list would be interesting, (Revealing?). I would look...

    Rusty crusty wrecker recovery

There seems a few Adverts cropping up on the site..as (when) you follow a thread description or addendum there is a Utube link. Now one would think that the utube link would be "comment related"..But..No..unless Im missing a trick, they are (Some) solid commercial unrelated adverts. (which..i...
