The only "Mil Spec" clocks I have found are old aircraft or Russian...kind of interesting that no clocks were used on trucks. I use mine all the time (from Russian tank application). Think about it, many TM instructions include time specifications, wrist watches weren't issued as far as I know....

If the batteries started out poorely charged, they would be charged at a high rate, which may have overheated them.... The vehicle charging system is not designed to charge drained batteries, only to recover the charge lost during normal starting.

Which MVs have the manufacturer's logo showing on the front of the vehicle, not just on the data plate? Just curious, it seems like the newer trucks come with the name highly visible, Oshkosh, S&S and foreign ones. Were there restrictions in the past?
