Hey guys, There is a huge car show on March 22, in La Verne, Ca. right next to the Pomona Fair Grounds, in old town La Verne. They have requested the MV clubs' attendance. It is an all day event, lots of great old, new and custom cars...and military vehicles! I think last year we had 15 trucks...

I had a '77 1/2 ton power wagon. It was a gutless pig. I went to the bone yard and picked up a stock,4 bbl manifold and an AFB carb. It made it come alive but the mileage suffered. Did I mention it had 38s on it? I dropped them down to 33', but it was still a gas hog.

If the x-head is walking around on the valves, that means it's out of adjustment. If it is too far out, one of the valves will start moving before the other and make a "pop" in the intake or exhaust....late valve timing...That takes about 1/8 of an inch clearance between the two valves to...

Take the alt off of the engine and use an impact, as in air tool. The nut will spin off pretty easy. If you have a band type filter wrench, that will work to hold the pulley.
