    Deuce Hub Bolt Circle Measurement?

I got 5.56x on the desplined ones I have. I'd do the 5.563 ones.

    My first Deuce...

Congrats on your purchase! Secure the lug wrench and make sure the cargo canvas is secured well. You wouldn't want them to fly off while motoring and cause an accident.

Adam, what year is your Dodge?

    OEM convex mirrors ??

I couldn't find the ones with the writing on them, so, I went to a local truck supply, bought black ones and painted them.

Oil Change on the Deuce. When?

You should do a baseline sample. Sample the new clean oil because some of the elements in the clean oil are also in dirty oil and you'll need to know how many more PPM are in your used oil for the analysis to make any sense. Sitting with old used oil is just as bad as extended change intervals...

New M1008 owner looking for parts

Do the M1009 and the M1008 share some of the same drivetrain components? That might help to know as it seems there are more 1009s around than the 1008s.

    Axle U-bolt Replacement

WOW  Try filling the cavity with WD40, diesel or some other oil based liquid to try to soften the rust up and maybe a little heat, like a propane torch, not oxy/acet. heat, on the outside of the bearing housing. Be patient, don't get in a hurry when you start taking it apart.

Big cam III in a 5ton?

It has been kicked around a few times, the latest a week ago maybe. I know there are pictures here somewhere too. Try the search feature and see what you come up with

    35's and No lift

Re: RE: 35 rofl I think there was a watermelon chock on the other side! All you need to do is trim the fenders a bit. But if you do andthing off road, you'll need to give the truck a bit of a lift. 35s still will kiss the fenders in rough terrain. There is a salvage yard that is full of 1009s...

    Unknown trailer ???

RE: Re: Unknown trailer ??? It looks like an asphalt or road base spreader. There are skids on the ends, the tongue comes off, wheels that look like they support the front...the left side of the trailer...and maybe turn the auger, there is a latching mechanizm on the left side where it would...

    Barstow GL loading help

Where's the GL lady? Wonder if she can do anything about him. His answers are very short, like NO! and seems snotty, like he is doing you a favor by talking to you.

    first timer needs advice

Mark, welcome! It's nice to see another So Cal member. There are a few people up by Barstow, maybe they'll chime in and offer a hand. There is a sticky at the top of the deuce forum, check it out. It gives a rundown of what to bring when recovering one of these beasts. Read the 10 manual, it helps.

    Compressor regulator help

Floridianson is correct. Leave the #2 port open to atmosphere, or put a vent cap in it...like the one on the differential. The #1 port is a direct line to the tank. It allows the air pressure in the tank to tell the governer to stop the compressor from building more air, it is a sensing line...

WHO WANTS NEW BUNGEE FOR THE COVERS?

Can anyone snap a pic of a cargo cover and a cab cover with the bungee hold downs? I have ropes and want to get rid of them in favor of rubber straps.

Re: Deuce tranny inspection plate gasket sealers?

Gaskacinch. It holds the gasket in place, but won't squish it out when you tighten it. The paper should work fine.

ubolt for the rear off my deuce

The ones for the diff are just bolts. Do you need the ones for the spring packs?
