    New to Me M998

Look up the Harris VHF or UHF radios. There was one that had a much different setup than the SINCGARS and I've had parts mounted on the wheel wells before. Also had a highback with 3 VRC-92F sets in the back. BDE S-6 had rigged it as a backup/spare C2 truck.

My item is in a secret location! NOT HAPPY

I would... extrapolate... that he is referring to the additional costs that would be incurred by a tow truck/shipper/hauler going through the gate, having to get screened by security, etc... that would add costs to the overall transportation bill. However, I reserve the right to be wrong and...

M35a2 - Did not serve - Is painting with military colors disrespectful

Bottom line: **** no, no disrespectful. If we all had to buy what we served with, none of the old (WWII/Korea) would be around! I see guys take non-mil trucks all the time and paint them up so they would at least fit in at first glance. You bought the truck, OWN it. Lots of good resources...

    Fayetteville GP Pickup

If it's on base, it can suck, and I'd be willing to pick it up and drop it off with you. Most of the gen trailers I have seen recently, just came out of service, so I wouldn't be too concerned towing it that distance. I mean, you'll need to check the basics, but, bring a set of magnetic tow...

    M880 steering...

It's for the blackout drive light (aka the minimized headlight) they were mounted behind the grill, but usually necessitated the removal of grill pieces to project a "full swath"

    Troop seats on backwards

So.... wouldn't this be inside out vs. backwards? lol. Anyone try this with an MTV yet? (not that it would work without some major modifications)

Need a DRASH Shelter Transport trailer hauled from Camp Lejeune, North Carolina to Ma

Some information that may be important. Are the tires good? Is this a Medium or a Large? (AKA does it require Air supply to release brakes) Is it self contained? (Can you just pull the trailer, or do you need the trailer plus a pallet)

    Theft deterrence of LMTV

The issue with moisture is more so ice in the winter than anything else. They've had issues with moisture getting into the lines and when the guys go to hit the brakes the ice has clogged the lines.

    Push Button Light Switch...

They are nice, but, in reality, I preferred the 3 lever while I was in. Every once in a while it took a few attempts to get the lights on. The rebuilds we received in 2012 had the 3 lever vs. the push button.

    Theft deterrence of LMTV

The latest gen of HEMMTs have a Lock like that through the steering gear. A few years ago when they first got fielded I was about to chew a motor SGTs butt due to his entire brand new fleet being unsecured. I went back one more time to check (having a hard time believing that he left the...
