I just got two air shifts from Brad's for $125 each. Heck on of them was brand new. I was a bit surprised to see Ontario Canada manuf plates on it though. Have you gotten your trailer from Brad's? May need to load up a case. He's got them all over the place
You can add a dual circuit on an M35 but it will cost you some money. I am unaware of any commercially available kits. You can use DOT 3 if and only if you completely flush out the current DOT 5 brake fluid. You can get DOT 5 for $30/gallon from Spruce Mountain Surplus. He is a fellow SS by the way.
Not 101, taking I-5 S. in Olympia. I know there is an exit right off I-5 just south of Tumwater w/a truck stop..Scott Lake exit? I don't remember. That would probably be the best place to rendezvous. Easy access onto I-5 w/minimal traffic issues. Any ideas?
I'll convoy down with you guys. We'll need to set up a rally point in the Olympia area fairly close with easy access to I-5. The 40-45 MPH is good to go on my end.
Yes Josh, as long as they are Family Radio Service radio's, they share the same band.

Just like how Citizen Band (CB's) radios have their own band. CB's would be the way to go but they are bit more involved. Just wanted to follow the KISS...
Just wondering how many guys are hanging low out of radar's range who plan on attending. I know there are several who have not chimed in just yet. If Aaron and I have not been contacted by you and you plan on attending, let us know:-) Good to know our actual count.
Again, please plan on having...
Hi Scott, they are on base. In fact they are just down about a mile down the road towards the Madigan side. You have to pass by this place. It is completely surrounded by a fence. They have a few artillery pieces, tires, engine crates etc. It's on the back side where the dismantling yard is
FT Lewis has a few M813's painted flat black and black CUCV's. I was going to take a couple pics but then realised it's against regs. Anyone know what the Army would be doing with these older black trucks? They were on the other side of the fence amongst the HEMTT's and FMTV's.
I see something wrong in the second pic:| The MV operator is not grinning ear to ear w/a contagious smile, as would be expected with this beautiful new acquisition;) No really, congratulations on your new ride. It only get worse from here on out. Get ready for all the "Why....?" questions from...
Ok, I'll bite:-)
1968 M35A2 w/w US Army contract 5k miles "EXODUS"
1986 M35A2C w/w USAF contract 7k miles (original) "No name"
1988 M35A2C w/w USAF contract 14k miles (original) "Forest Gump" name assigned by a military unit....why!?!
Hi roxxx, good to see more brothers from the North join in. I had the pleasure of vacationing in Alberta last year. Spent 3-4 days in Red Deer then ventured south to check out other areas. I was amazed how beautiful and clean Alberta is! The people were very hospitable and welcoming compared to...
Hmm now I'm really wondering about the fuel lines and IP. These trucks are designed to run without batteries (combat situation), therefore no intank pump working. The IP is suppose to draw enough fuel to keep the engine going. When the batteries are in the truck the in tank pump does work...
