That's for a 5T dropside. You can take the uprite/corner holders off and install them on a rack for the non dropside very easily. That's what I did.

I'll give this a shot. The original design had the MC and, I think the tank vent, going into the road draft tube...I think it was for fording?? That is how my truck still is. There was a modification to remove the vent from the M/C due to fumes from the fuel tank...again, if I remember...

RE: release My 85 one ton did that if I went wheeling and went thru deep water. Pull the hood latch. Then, just use both hands, and with the heels of your hands, give the hood a good, quick bump, downward on the front corners on each side of the catch. Do this a few times and it should pop up...
