Thinking about ways to transport hot (275°F) used cooking oil from the restaurant.
Question: Can the Mermite box handle that temp and what's the approx volume?
I could research this on my own, but since the answers may benefit everybody.....
What can be diagnosed by using a dual pyrometer, one thermocouple in each exhaust manifold section, not possible with a single probe installation?
On a summer time road trip, the fuel in the standard tank gets to about 125°F simply from the warm return flow.
If you know that you'll be keeping the fuel warm this way, you can easily run on a 50/50 mix of VO and diesel. It may only be a little harder than normal to start the truck next...
The light switch on my 757 has no locking feature, the upper and lower left levers operate without the need to use the 3rd , locking lever.

Un-washed biodiesel: 8.5 (caustic)
Washed biodiesel: 7.0 (neutral)
I use a mix of unwashed biodiesel and WVO, so the pH may be close to neutral, don't know, haven't...
Sorry to see the need to sell it, but you must have put a lot of money into it and may be hard pressed to see a return on the investment in any other way.
If you have a chance, I would like to know more about the cycling times of the CTIS and did you ever figure the MPG?
Thanks and good luck...
The LDS465-2 engine was designed for more power and higher goverened speed (rpm), one modification was the addition of a 5th piston ring, anybody have an educated opinion on its purpose?
Guess it would keep the piston better aligned...or is that not a problem?
