Biodiesel is available commercially and certain amounts of the homemade variety is permitted to be used legally, but what about veggie oil, used or fresh? I don't believe it's considered a legal fuel in any amount (other than as an additive), so does anyone know how to legally use WVO or VO...
As I go along working on the 757, I like to point out design differences (improvements) and found another today. The instrument panel is installed on rubber shock mounts and there is a dedicated ground wire for the instruments.
RE: Re: RE: Pre- Filter housing
Thanks for pointing that out Ryan, I had a filter canister from an M543 at one time and it was just a simple "barrel", must have been an exception....
Have you tried to use the "additive" approach, you are permitted to use additives as long as it's not 100% in my understanding.
Biodiesel can pe purchased and it's probably a good idea to buy some now and then just to be able to show a receipt.

Opie has tried to get some gallon cans locally, but the shipping and hazmat charges are...

One reason I'm posting all this about the...
1) Yes, but for 100% WVO, it must be heated. Mixed with diesel run about 20% max.
2) It requires extra handling. Pouring WVO into tank from small containers will usually cause a spill, which gets messy..I have left many a greasy spot on the pavements in rest areas across the country. :oops...
The CDL requirement starts at 26,001 lb, I don't need one to drive it empty, at least that's my understanding.
Yeah, the horsepower to weight ratio is very good, better than most MV's.

Have you tested the dump bed yet or did I miss something again?
