I'm still looking for these washers, seems like every new suggestion for a supplier is a dead end. Some part numbers, MS45904-68, MS45904-72 and MX45904-76 for 1/4. 5/16 and 3/8 inch respectively. 7/16 inch may be MS45904-80 and MS45904-84 for 1/2 inch. Maybe parts that Devilman could stock...

RE: Star Washers Wayne, McMasters does have star washers, but not hardened like the ones found on our vehicles/radio mounts etc. I like McMasters for a lot of things, good quality parts, fast delivery and low low shipping charges.

Wonder how clean the oil is in engines with nothing BUT a bypass filter, like the M37...no dry start problem here. :-)

Of course, it's not a deuce-and-a-half any longer either, is it?

This would not be a direct replacement, easy to install in the front bumper, though. :-) A couple of more images. All components moves and swivels nicely.

Is this it? I wanted to use it for a front bumper pintle for my deuce, so the price is high, $50.00 plus shipping.

The distilled water jug in the image above represents about 4 gallons for a 50/50 mix..... If you can't easily drain the engine block (plugs too tight or whatever), fill the radiator with distilled water and run the engine with T-stat removed for circulation and mixing, then drain the radiator...

When does this switch come into play?

FWIW, the M656/XM757 8x8 trucks designed in the mid 60's, use 100% air for braking. One more air tank was added and check valves between the tanks keep pressure up in the event of upstream air loss....

I'm interested in one, perhaps two, but my budget won't allow it for a while. Doing the manual pump for starters with all parts on hand or on their way here.

You are putting some of us to shame Tom, glad you are keeping the multifuel. Of course, with a name like Bauer, "builder" in German....
