owning an M38, there's a few things. When you look at the fenders, ensure you have the proper holes for mounting things like the slave cable receptcle that you would not have on a civi version. Double check the frame horns up front where the bumper goes. keep your eye on the blackout lights...
US Army cargo trucks do not have seat belts installed in the cargo/troop compartment from the manufacturer. They use one strap draped between the highest 'backrest' points at the rear of the cargo area as the 'troop retention strap'.
You can add any additional lap belts as you feel you need...
All FMTV cabs should be interchangeable. There may be some minor changes between the S&S and the Oshkosh version, but this cab is old enough it may be a S&S cab.
There's a new version of the HIMARS cab that doesn't look close to that anymore. But, I thought these were cooler. Plus, they look very similar to the MLRS cabs.
