Anyone from Mass just buy this HMMWV?

This would make sense as we strip antennas from most of the systems turned in. We regularly ship via commercial truck.

    Roadside safety: Stay Alive!

I have triangles in the truck and tool box, 4 total. Hi-Vis Vest with High Vis Mechanix gloves, a Harbor freight magnetic white LED light that can attach to the back of my truck, and road safe beacons (I can't remember the name) that have a red/amber light setup and can flash various patterns...

My M880 Thread (pics plus bonus M882)

2 questions: 1. has anyone used the CARC look-a-like paint to do up their M880 in a MERDEC scheme? (all the paint jobs I see seem to be "faded") 2. is the cargo cover system for an M880 the same as a M1008?

FBCB2 In FMTV - Can't figure this out

I'm not 100%, and I'm on leave for the next week so I won't be able to find a truck to confirm, BUT... I would say the power system could go next to the DAGR. Monitor and keyboard should be routed to the TC. I see what you're saying regarding the bolt holes... no idea other than to try other...

Interesting. Not a fan of the "through the fender". Seems a bit odd that they didn't get equipped with them... oh well.

    Willys MB2A

very nice looking repro. It'd be a a lot of fun to have and not worry about it 'as much' as if it were a true vintage MB.

    FBCB2 - AN/UYK128 Questions

It would be fun to have it run another system or be able to do other things. Missing in that picture is the DAGR mount. should be on that plate facing out.

My M880 Thread (pics plus bonus M882)

Hmmmm..... that's odd as the M880 didn't have the same block/bolt setup, and there weren't any empty holes.

My M880 Thread (pics plus bonus M882)

It had the curb side and street side Battery trays, on both, for sure on the M882, not 100% on the M880. The M882 had a alternator on the street side of the engine with a double groove pulley on it. There was a empty bracket off of the curb side of the engine. The street side wheel well also...
