Lee, been there done that, years ago. I wouldn't blame it all on the NDCC's, though, ten tires on an empty deuce give you lots of floatation. Probably wouldn't do much better with radials either.
I rememer driving my deuce with duals on a snowcovered dirt road here and actually had to stop, get...
You knew this was coming. :-)
I'd like to have a test of chains vs lockers one day. Chains offer unbelievable traction on slippery surfaces, even ice where lockers probably woudn't help that much.
This is what may happen to the tires and engine compartment during a fire.
The white stuff hanging from the bed is what's left of fiberglass troop seats.

FWIW, item 6 in the image below is a safety relief valve and the pressure should not get much over 120 psi.
I have had this valve stuck open from ice and pressure never reched operational level.
My 1990 TB 9-2320-357-13 shows this towbar and it has rectangular or square members. In the description it's listed as "Tow Bar" part number 81.67101.6046.
TB title: Connecting and disconnecting procedures for Truck, Wrecker w/crane: 10 ton 8x8 M1002
I'm curious about these adapters, the universal ends fit the M35 (1" pin) and the M37 (3/4" pin) among other. The other end is the problem, it needs a gap opening of 1-7/8" and a pin 1-1/8" in dia. They will not fit the "medium" towbars that I have nor do they match up with the heavy 80" towbar...
Hey Mike, how about a counter to show effectiveness of the classifieds? It should show the number of "visitors".
Also, about the background color, I prefer a black background after signing in for easy reading and most text dissapears in the classified section with this color. Check it please...
Kenny knows, here is the picture again.
The MX-7777 filters and supresses noise on the 24 volt system as well as blocks reverse polarity.
I have a small voltage regulator, which reduces the available 24 volts to 12 volts for my CB and some other electronics.
If you draw 12 volts from one...
You can always have a lab analysis done. This is a part of one I had done on my oil.
Some metal particles can cause abnormal wear on IP and injectors if not filtered out completely.
Kenny, thought about that, but if I were to machine them down, I'd find the right towbar the next day. :-)
James, I have two different "medium" towbars and these adapters don't fit either one. You are right about the large having a male/female issue. Are there adapters for the adapters?
For...
Checked the turning torque again this afternoon (3rd day).
No change on either side, same as yesterday.
EDIT (Dec 5, 06): 4th day: No change.....
EDIT (Dec 6, 06): 5th day: No change....
EDIT (Dec 9, 06): 8th day: No change....
Another question pops up.
Received these adapters from Kevin today. (Thank you for fast service! Money order is in the mail.)
The universal end fits the M35 (1" pin) and the M37 (3/4" pin), BUT what does the other end fit? It requires a 1-7/8" gap to handle it and with a 1-1/8" pin.
The towbar...
