you can bypass that thermostat for testing, plug the male and female packard plugs into each other,the compressor should run in the AC position.
if it still trips? The thermostat is not the issue.
they aren’t aftermarket, not sure why people think so just because it’s sold from another country, milsurp is all over the place.
I just bought an S3 box from Kuwait…OEM and arrived in 3 days.
It’s clear in the pic that the AC and IGN wires have been spliced…I would verify the connections are intact.
if you have an over running pulley, make sure it’s also operating correctly
if The blower is working on heat but not AC? It’s not the blower…it’s the same blower. I had a truck in from DOE that did this and it was the EESS box was bad, also seen similar issues due to chafing on the body harness due to the 400amp generator.
You need further TS to isolate.
The stock springs on the m1165A1 are perfectly fine IMO…the variable rate rears are the same as what’s in an H1, the fronts have 2k rated springs.
The only person making springs worth a sh*t is Mike Hoffman out in Chicago.
