Not sure what to say except I was either working on other projects or waiting on parts.
I spent almost every free minute through April getting my race car ready for open road rally in Mexico.
Then, I found out my IP was finished and had to buy one of those - they are super expensive and hard...
OK. Got the truck started! Should be driving in no time - need to fix a bad U joint on the PTO and solder up a couple cracks in the radiator.
Thanks for all your help.
I'll put the offer out again - HELP!!! Someone in the Houston area help me start my truck! If you have a shop, I'll even have it moved there.
I suck at this and have broken more stuff than Ive fixed. Ive spent over a thousand bucks and seems like its worse than before I started.
Ok back at this. I have everything on the IP mounted - except for the front timing gear. I'm going to pull the valve cover tonight to make sure its right.
UNFORTUNATELY NOW when I turn the power on the fuel pump roars but no fuel. Ive opened the bleed to check this and I'm sure its not...
Found the IP Mounting Flange gasket through Oshkosh - so I got two! An extra just in case.
Also picked up the valve cover gaskets so I can make extra sure everything is lined up.
Now, if the radiator shop will finish fixing my radiator!
Ive been pissing away over two weeks waiting on the gasket that seals the IP to the rear of the block. Ive wasted about $50 and I now have FOUR of the gaskets for the front cover over the IP gear but not the gasket I need!!!! AAAAUGH!!!!!!!
1. Who has that gasket? Ive come too far to...

^^^ OUT!
I'm not going to push my luck. I'll try swapping stuff over to the new pump in the daylight.
I took off the fourth bolt too - for fun yesterday and it didn't do anything either. Thats when I saw another fuel line still attached that went somewhere. I'll unhook or cut that this weekend sometime and see if the pump comes out.
I'm positive the new pump only has 3 bolts holding the...
Had a Lone Star and went back to take a less pissed off look at the problem.
I can see one more fuel line connected. Maybe thats holding up progress but doesn't look like it. Will try again tomorrow. :(
1. Hammered lightly on the old IP shaft. The pump moved just a hair and opened up a crack. It doesn't just fall out. Thats all it moves:

Three bolts on the back. Out.
Not sure what holds it in the front.
I'm looking at the new pump and can't figure it out.
Three holes holding the back on and a threaded tapered shaft in the front.
There is a line on the wheel? in the little square window. The pointer is right on it.
I removed the three bolts holding the unit on but it won't budge. The new unit has a tapered shaft so I figured the hub was pressed on and keeping it from coming out.
Imma hammer on it just a little bit...
Think I have nearly everything removed that needs to come out - out. EXCEPT for the IP.
Removed the gear from the front... forgot to mark its alignment so I'm sure I'll pay for that later.
My problem is the hub underneath the pulley? Looks like its press fit to the IP? Can't...
PTO shaft has to come out.
Does the Steering have to be fussed with typically?
Will the IP lift out the top or drop somehow out the bottom? Which is easiest?
Big problem with replacing the injection pump is finding another injection pump.
FINALLY think I have one - just picked up a "new" reman off Fleabay for $575 shipped. Ouch!
The other vendors wanted a thousand bucks for the same unit so will see if my frugality paid off.
